2013 Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Breakfast Announced

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Head Coach Steve Donahue will join the other six Division I men's basketball coaches for the second annual Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Breakfast on September 26 at TD Garden.
ESPN's Jeff Goodman will host the event which will feature special guest Brad Stevens, who was named the 17th head coach of the Boston Celtics in July. Goodman will moderate a discussion about NCAA basketball in Massachusetts and around the country.
Joe Jones (Boston University), Tommy Amaker (Harvard), Bill Coen (Northeastern), Derek Kellogg (UMass), Milan Brown (Holy Cross) and Pat Duquette (UMass Lowell) will join Donahue, Goodman and Stevens in the Legends Room at TD Garden.
Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit Coaches vs. Cancer, a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
The program leverages the personal experiences, community leadership and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities and advocacy programs.
