Rubin To Compete In 19th Maccabiah

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior Danny Rubin will represent the United States in the 19th Maccabiah Games that will be held in Israel from July 18-30.
Rubin will compete with the U.S. basketball team that will compete in the "open" division. The team will be coached by Brad Greenberg, the head coach of Israel's professional team, Maccabi Haifa.
The Chevy Chase, Md., product will be the most experienced player on head coach Steve Donahue's squad next season. Rubin has played in 74 career games and has made 24 starts.
The Maccabiah is the world's largest Jewish athletic competition in the tradition and values of Maccabi. The Maccabiah takes place every four years in Israel and is the Maccabi World Union's largest and most famous enterprise.
