Men's Basketball Honors Announced

Ryan Anderson takes home team MVP; Peter Rehnquist earns Frank Power Award

Fr. Greg Kalscheur, S.J., serves as senior associate dean for strategic planning and faculty development in the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and associate professor of law at Boston College.

A native of Wisconsin, Fr. Kalscheur has been a college basketball fan since his undergraduate days at Georgetown (1981-85). He entered the Society of Jesus in 1992, after attending law school at the University of Michigan and several years of legal practice in Washington, D.C.

As a Jesuit, he has studied at Loyola University Chicago, the Weston Jesuit School of Theology (now the BC School of Theology and Ministry), and Columbia Law School, taught at Loyola University Maryland, and has done parish work in Raleigh, North Carolina, before completing the last phase of his Jesuit training in Australia in 2010.

Ordained to the priesthood in 2001, Fr. Kalscheur joined the faculty of the Boston College Law School in 2003, where he has taught civil procedure, constitutional law, and law and religion.

He began serving as chaplain of Coach Donahue's team in the 2011-12 season.
