Baseball Announces Summer Camps

Chestnut Hill, Mass - The Boston College baseball team announced the 2013 dates for its summer youth camps. "Birdball" Camps provide players ages six to 12, to work on skills and learn techniques from the entire BC coaching staff, current and former Eagles, current professional players and other area coaches.
The first session of the summer will run from July 8 to the 12th and the second session from July 15 to the 19th. The camps will take place on the Shea Field, the home of the Eagles, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The cost is $325 per session. Campers also have the option to stay until 5 p.m. and play other sports-related activities with BC student-athletes.
Birdball Camps helps players improve their game in a high-pace, fun and safe environment. They will receive first-rate coaching in all phases of the game: hitting, base running, throwing and fielding. They will play in games, hone skills in drill work and have a great Birdball experience.
