Chestnut Hill, Mass - The Boston College baseball team and the Connecticut Tigers will host St. John's on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Conn.
Tickets cost $10 for premium box seats, $8 for reserved box seats and $7 for grandstand tickets. Tickets for the "The Yard Bar and Grill," located behind home plate at the luxury suite level, cost $20.
The Eagles (15-25) are coming off a conference weekend in Raleigh, N.C., where they took an 11-10 victory over No. 18 NC State on Friday night. On Saturday, they dropped a doubleheader to the Wolfpack. Sophomore right-hander Eric Stevens (4-2, 5.85 ERA) will make the start. He leads the team in wins, strikeouts (34) and strikeouts looking (12).
Four Connecticut natives on are on the BC roster, including Simsbury's Tom Bourdon, a sophomore who leads the team with a .325 batting average, and junior captain Rob Moir, a Seymour, Conn., native who is third on the team with a .308 batting clip. Right-hand starters Taylor Lasko is from Stratford and Eric Stone hails from Milford.
St. John's (25-15) features former Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year junior RHP Matt Carasiti, from Berlin as the lone Connecticut player on its roster. The Red Storm will throw left-hander Brendan Lobban (4-3, 4.01 ERA).
The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the New York-Penn League.
