Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College baseball team is hosting 14th-ranked Georgia Tech for a three-game series at Pellagrini Diamond at Commander Shea Field starting Friday, March 23 at 2:30 p.m. The Eagles (7-12, 0-6) are looking for their first Atlantic Coast Conference win, while the Yellow Jackets (14-7, 3-3 ACC) are coming off 2-1 weekend against Virginia Tech.
Saturday's game is at 1:30 p.m. and Sunday's contest is slated for 1 p.m.
The Eagles lost the opening game at home on Tuesday against instate rival Holy Cross, 3-1, but bounced back beat Bryant, 8-5, on the road in Smithfield, R.I. After taking two conference game, the Yellow Jackets lost, 7-1, to in-state rival No. 17 Georgia.
BC is 5-12 against Georgia Tech since the Eagles joined the ACC in 2006. The Eagles have won three of nine games at Shea Field.
