Boston, Mass. - Fenway Park will host the 2013 Baseball Beanpot on Monday, April 29. The college baseball doubleheader will feature teams from Boston College, Harvard, Northeastern and Massachusetts.

The day will begin with the consolation game at 2 p.m., followed by the Beanpot Championship game at 5 p.m. The Eagles will battle the Minutemen on April 10 in Amherst while the Crimson and Huskies will play at Northeastern to determine the field for the finale at Fenway.

Tickets go on sale today, Monday, Feb. 11 at noon online at http://www.redsox.com/beanpot or by phone at (877) REDSOX-9. Fans with disabilities may call (877) REDSOX-9 to purchase accessible seating (while supplies last). The Red Sox TTY number for hearing-impaired fans is (617) 226-6644.

Tickets are all general admission and priced at $10 each. Net proceeds will benefit the Pete Frates #3 Fund, named after the former BC captain Pete Frates, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Frates, an outfielder from 2004-07, was named the 2006 Beanpot MVP after going 5-for-7 in the two games with five RBIs and a two-run homer in the championship. He was a perfect 4-for-4 in the finale.

The Eagles own a 30-13-1 record in the annual tournament, which is the best among the four participants. BC has won 10 Beanpot titles with its latest coming in 2011.
