Boston College junior David Conley allowed three hits in eight innings to lead the Eagles in a 12-1 win against Northeastern at Friedman Field on April 6.
Conley improved to 2-3 on the season after allowing one run and striking out four batters.
The Eagles (10-12) provided an impressive offensive display, scoring in seven of the nine innings. BC pounded out 20 hits, as eight of the nine starters collected at least one hit.
The barrage was led by left fielder Joe Kealty who went 4-for-6 with two RBIs. Senior co-captain Jeff Waldron went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Sophomore centerfielder Jarett Mendoza went 3-for-6 with four RBIs.
Sophomore Erik Olson relieved Conley and pitched a perfect ninth inning. He struck out one of the three batters he faced.
The Eagles will return to action on April 7 when they face Providence. Game time is 3 p.m. on Shea Field.
