AS A SOPHOMORE: His 46.1 innings was third most on the pitching staff finished the season at 3-0 with one save defeated Mount St. Mary's, Vermont and Harvard (in the Beanpot consolation round) posted a 5.44 ERA and a 4.2 to 1 strikeout-to-walk ratio earned the save in BC's 9-4 victory over Pittsburgh (May 13); he allowed one run on two hits through 3.1 innings of that game (in his second appearance of the day) threw a career-high 10 strikeouts vs. Mount St. Mary's in a complete-game outing (9.0) March 8 in 3.0 hitless innings vs. Vermont, Sullivan posted four K's against Harvard, he allowed five hits in 4.0 innings struck out two Red Sox minor-leaguers - including Israel Alcantara - in a scoreless eighth inning of the exhibition game (March 3) he and his older brother Andy ('00) combined for four strikeouts against the BoSox.
AS A FRESHMAN: Took to the hill seven times in relief during his rookie campaign posted a 6.55 ERA in 11.0 innings of work pitched 2.0 scoreless innings in the Eagles' 20-4 victory over Valparaiso (March 3) went 1.0 inning of scoreless relief in the team's 11-2 win over cross-town rival Northeastern (April 6) earned the save after 1.0 inning of relief in BC's 10-7 upset of Notre Dame April 17 that was the Eagles' first win over the Irish since June 7, 1928.
BEFORE BC: Earned All-Middlesex League honors during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons (1996-98) at WHS led the league with a 0.71 ERA during his junior season (1997) served as captain during his senior season for former major-leaguer Mike Pagliarulo and named the team's most valuable player.
PERSONAL: Enrolled in the Carroll School of Management as a finance major Mark earned "Student-Athlete" award at Winchester High School a member of the National Honor Society competed in both football and basketball at WHS captained his basketball team his senior campaign ...
