AS A SOPHOMORE (2006)
Played in 47 games, including 27 ACC contests ... recorded 11 starts at catcher and 32 as the designated hitter ... hit .321 in 168 plate appearances ... his .321 average was good for third best on the team; hit .289 in 90 plate appearances in conference play ... registered 18 RBI and seven walks ... was second on the team in slugging percentage (.470) ... recorded 11 multiple-hit performances, including four three hit performances and 11 two-hit contests ... enjoyed a 12-game hitting streak, (two behind team leader Shawn McGill) ... went 3-for-6 with two RBI and two runs scored in a road win at Charleston Southern (2/18) ... went 3-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI in a home win against Pittsburgh (3/4) ... recorded 98 assists and a .972 fielding percentage.
