AS A JUNIOR: Made eight appearances on the mound, including four starts posted a record of 3-0 had a 3.00 ERA in 36 innings of work Picked up first win of the season against RI (March 30); allowed only four hits and one earned run in 5.2 innings secured second victory of the season against Holy Cross (April 20); did not surrender a single earned run, while giving up five hits and striking out three in five innings Went eight strong innings in a win over Northeastern (May 6); scattered eight hits, struck out three and allowed just two earned runs.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Made nine mound appearances, all in relief; did not gain a decision struck out three batters and allowed just one earned run in 3.2 innings against Seton Hall on April 9 Worked 3.0 innings against Providence on April 15; allowed two hits and one run, while fanning two Friars Concluded the season with two strikeouts at St. John's on April 27.
AS A FRESHMAN: Made seven mound appearances, all in relief ... picked up one decision, a win ... posted an ERA of 7.71 in 7.0 innings pitched ... averaged one strikeout per inning, while allowing just four free passes ... Pitched one scoreless inning in his first collegiate appearance -- at Babson on March 25 -- striking out two and allowing no one to reach base ... Picked up first career win against Northeastern, giving up one run on two hits to the Huskies on May 2.
BEFORE BC: Played three years at Buckingham Browne and Nichols; pitcher and outfielder for two years, before pitching and playing shortstop in his final season ... served as team captain in both his junior and senior seasons ... received the Athletic Office Award ... was also a standout soccer and basketball player ... earned awards for leadership and community service.
