Finished the season with a 2-2 record and was second among relievers with a 2.93 ERA ... made 16 appearances, including three starts ... was second on the team with two saves and tied for second with six games finished ... fourth on the BC staff with 35 strikeouts and third with 11 strikeouts looking ... allowed 39 hits, 15 runs - 14 earned - and just 12 walks over 43.0 innings ... went 2-1 with a 3.57 ERA in ACC action, making nine appearances ... struck out 19 over 22.2 innings against conference opponents ... Captain of Bishop Hendricken as a senior and helped lead the Hawks to two consecutive (2012,13) state championships ... earned all-academic, all-city, all-division and all-state honors as a junior and senior ... as a senior, named the Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year ... also earned Louisville Slugger First-Team All-American accolades, Rawlings Northeast All-Region second-team honors, the Rhode Island Baseball Coaches Association Player of the Year and Warwick Beacon Athlete of the Year awards ... tallied an 11-0 record with a 0.30 ERA in final season ... went 8-2 as a junior with a 0.69 ERA and two no-hitters ... also played the outfield and batted over .450 as a junior and senior ... also played basketball for three years and earned all-academic honors ... member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and won the Second Lieutenant Richard D. McKenzie Award for exemplary leadership, service and character.
