Selected as an all-star for Hyannis Mets of Cape Cod League during summer of 2004...recorded a 2-5 record with a 2.84 ERA...led Mets with strikeouts (56) and innings pitched (57.0)

As a Junior (2004)
Pitched in 15 games, starting seven...struck out seven in four-inning bullpen stint in team's first win of the season over Auburn, earning the save...threw six innings of three-hit ball in 4-1 win over Holy Cross to earn first win of season...won second game of season with two innings of shutout relief against Rhode Island on April 6...worked 6.2 innings in longest stint of the year against Northeastern on March 30, striking out five...collected first career hits (2-for-3) against Central Connecticut State on March 14...also knocked in two runs.

As a Sophomore (2003)
Made two starts in six appearances...pitched 18.2 innings for a 1-0 record and 9.16 ERA...fanned a season-high six batters in four innings of relief vs. Drexel on February 23...pitched seven innings to get the win vs. Holy Cross on March 7, surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits in the 7-5 win.

As a Freshman (2002)
Appeared in seven games, starting three...led the team with a 1.38 ERA and ranked fifth in opponents batting average (.240) and strikeouts (25)...had strongest outing against Vermont on May 15, when he struck out 11 batters in six innings of work while giving up only four hits and one run...first collegiate victory came against crosstown rival Harvard, when he pitched five innings, allowing three hits and no runs, while striking out two...of the 13 runs he surrendered, only four were earned.

Before BC
Pitched and played the outfield under Michael Sheppard at Seton Hall Prep...named to the New Jersey All-State Team on two separate occasions...also selected to the all-county first team twice...was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 44th round of the 2001 Major League Baseball draft...also played basketball and football.
