AS A SENIOR (2011)
The only true starting pitcher on the team for most of the year due to injuries, he started a team-high 13 games and appeared in 14 ... led the Eagles with 75.1 innings pitched ... finished 4-7 with a 5.38 ERA ... allowed 53 runs - 45 earned - on 87 hits ... struck out 38 batters and walked 22 ... started the season hot by allowing nine earned runs in his first five starts (33.1 IP, 2.45 ERA) ... picked up the win at Duke (4/9) after working 7.0 innings and allowing three runs while scattering 10 hits ... tossed 8.0 innings and only allowed an unearned run at Maryland (3/20) for the win ... began the outing by throwing 5.1 no-hit innings ... faced three batters over the minimum and only three Terrapins reached second ... faced two over the minimum through 6.0 innings at Florida State (3/13) but did not pick up a decision ... earned his second win of the year against Michigan State (3/6), throwing 7.2 innings and allowing one run on seven hits ... got the win against Tennessee Tech (2/20) after working 5.0 shutout innings and only allowing two hits while fanning five.
