Scott Lemone, born December 17, 1980 ... Played in the 2000 Benicia summer league.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Hitting .200 for five RBIs; four of his eight hits went for extra bases (three doubles and one home run)... made 11 starts in 21 game appearances ... belted his first collegiate home run vs. Connecticut (April 14) ... started two of three games played in Florida; went 3-for-6 with two runs scored and two runs driven in, in that span ... was 1-for-2 against Florida Atlantic (Feb. 11) in his first collegiate start when he earned his first hit as a collegian ... made the transition to catcher and designated hitter.

AS A FRESHMAN: Played in seven games, had no hits in six at bats with two walks ... made three putouts against Holy Cross (April 18).

BEFORE BC: Voted team and league MVP his senior season, after compiling a 9-2 record and 2.20 ERA on the mound ... also batted .520, led the team in eight offensive categories, including a record-breaking 40 RBIs in 26 games ... invited to try out for the North vs. South California all-star game ... as a junior, pitched to a 4-0 record with a 2.00 ERA while batting .436 ... member of the silver medal, 1997 16-and-under AAU team ... also a participant on the champion California team at the Junior Sunbelt Classic in Oklahoma.

PERSONAL: Enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences as a communications major ... Scott is the oldest of Donalyn and Allan Lemone's two children.
