AS A JUNIOR: Made 11 appearances on the hill, nine as a starter compiled a record of 4-5 placed third on the Eagle pitching staff in wins (4) and innings pitched (54.1) picked up his first win as a collegian against Baldwin-Wallace (March 6); went six innings, allowing a single run in that game hurled eight strong innings in a 12-1 Eagle rout of crosstown rival Northeastern (April 6); gave up only one run and three hits, while striking out four in that contest registered a win after battling for seven innings at BIG EAST rival Notre Dame (April 17) notched his fourth win of the season at Connecticut (May 1).
AS A SOPHOMORE: Made 11 appearances, starting five games ranked third on the team with 41.1 innings pitched pitched six scoreless innings, allowing only five hits, against Tufts on March 31; struck out a season-high five batters in that contest.
AS A FRESHMAN: Made eight appearances on the hill, two in the starting role had a 7.17 ERA, but picked up no decisions did not allow an earned run until his fourth appearance, pitching four scoreless innings of relief against Babson, Seton Hall, and Providence allowed no runs on one hit while striking out two in two innings of relief at Providence on April 23.
BEFORE BC: Earned Dual County League all-star honors as a junior and senior served as team captain and earned team MVP honors as a senior finished his final season with a .318 batting average awarded the 1995 Sportsmanship Award and the 1994 Academic All-Star Award was also a two-year member of the varsity basketball team a member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences David and his younger sister Kaitlin Ann are the children of Lauren and Robert Conley; his father is a former Boston College pitcher who helped lead the Eagles to the 1967 College World Series.
