Led the team with 25 appearances, totaling 111 in career, first in BC record books ... tallied a 4.76 ERA and 0-1 record ... pitched 17.0 innings, allowed 23 hits, 16 runs - only nine earned - 10 walks and 12 strikeouts ... of the 23 hits allowed, only six were for extra bases and none were home runs ... did not allow a run in the first nine appearance of the season - five innings total - giving up just six hits, two walks and striking out four ... did not surrender a run or hit in final two outings, both one-inning stints at Maryland (5/17) and vs. Maine (5/14) ... struck out a season-high two without allowing a hit, walk or run in two innings of work against Harvard (4/3) ... combined for a shutout in the 2-0 win against Georgia State (3/2), pitching an inning of scoreless relief without giving up a hit, run or walk and striking out one ... earned the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SENIOR (2012)
Led all relievers with a 2.76 ERA and was second on the team with 23 appearances ... fourth on the team with 34 strikeouts ... compiled a 3-2 record, pitching 32.2 innings ... allowed just 38 hits, 18 runs - 10 earned - and six walks ... inherited 22 runners and allowed only four to score, three in one game ... tallied the win against Fordham (5/13), pitching 2.0 innings, allowing just two hits and no runs ... did not allow a run in six straight innings of relief work, against Harvard (4/10), at Virginia Tech (4/8) and Connecticut (4/3) ... tallied the win against UConn, throwing 2.1 innings, allowing three hits and one walk and striking out one ... registered first win of the season against Georgia Tech, pitching the final 1.1 innings without allowing a hit, run or walk and striking out two, as the Eagles won in the bottom of the ninth ... struck out a career-high five in 1.2 innings at UCF (2/24) ... did not allow a run or walk in first four appearances (4.2 IP), allowing just two hits and striking out six ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

AS A JUNIOR (2011)
Fourth on the team with 23 appearances to go with four starts ... went 4-4 with a 5.82 ERA in 60.1 innings, the second most on the team ... allowed 41 runs - 39 earned - on 75 hits while striking out 35 and walking 24 ... worked 2.2 innings and struck out three against Le Moyne (5/14) ... struck out a pair in 2.0 innings against Harvard (4/26) in a combined shutout for the Beanpot Championship ... combined to throw 2.1 innings against Northeastern (4/20) and at Georgia Tech (4/22), allowing one hit ... earned the win against the Huskies ... picked up the win after allowing just one hit in 7.0 innings of relief against Virginia Tech (3/26) ... faced one batter over the minimum and used 78 pitches ... started vs. SIU Edwardsville (3/5) and tossed 7.0 shutout innings for the win, allowing five hits ... also won in his first start against Indiana (2/19), allowing one run in 5.0 innings while striking out four.

Made seven appearances out of the bullpen in a season shortened by injury ... earned a medical redshirt for the season ... finished with a 3.86 ERA in 4.2 innings of work ... allowed two runs on three hits with both of those runs scoring in one appearance ... threw a perfect inning against Holy Cross (3/25) with a strikeout ... allowed a hit and two walks in his only two ACC appearances at Virginia (3/20) and Miami (3/14) ... worked a scoreless inning against Missouri (2/28) ... retired the only batter he faced at Auburn (2/26) and at Tulane (2/19).

Became a key part of the bullpen as a left-handed specialist ... led the team with 32 appearances, which ranks first all-time on BC's single-season record list ... finished the season with a 3.14 ERA ... worked 14.1 innings and allowed five runs on 15 hits ... struck out 13 batters and walked nine ... only allowed two extra base hits, both doubles ... inherited 48 runners on the season and only allowed 14 to score ... pitched 0.1 inning in all three games at the Austin Regional and allowed one base runner on a walk ... came on in relief in a bases loaded jam with BC up 3-0 against Dartmouth (4/29) and struck out the Big Green's two best hitters to pick up the save ... appeared in all three games against Virginia, pitching 1.2 innings and allowing one hit ... did not allow a run in his first 15 appearances of the season, a total of 6.2 innings.

Appeared in one game vs. Lehigh (3/2).

Earned All-Catholic Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior ... also captured Daily News Transcript All-Scholastic honors three times ... was a two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection ... earned the team's Most Valuable Player award as a junior and senior ... served as team captain as a senior ... was a three-year letterwinner for head coach Gerry Lambert ... posted a 15-6 career pitching record ... earned Under Armour Preseason All-America honors prior to senior season ... selected to Perfect Game's Northeast Top Prospect Games.

Graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications from the College of Arts and Sciences in 2011 and is enrolled in the Woods College of Advancing Studies for a masters in administrative studies ... Nate is the oldest of Stew and Elizabeth Bayuk's three children ... born Sept. 18, 1988.
