The Boston College ski team volunteered at Blue Hills Reservation in Milton, Mass. The Eagles helped with the annual "Sunset from the Top," the only night to hike up the mountain to see the sunset. The Eagles train at Blue Hills during their winter season.

The team cleaned up the lodge, helped with registration and supervised people in the Blue Hill Observatory.

"Helping out at Blue Hills was great," junior Katie Cutting said. "It was an awesome experience to give back to a hill that we spend the whole winter training at, and it was really great to have the whole team there. This was the first really organized service event we have had as a team, and it was a great feeling to help get the mountain ready for the season. It was also great to develop a relationship between the team and the mountain's manager, who was so excited to have us there."

The staff thanked the team and noted on the Facebook page, "Many thanks to the BC ski team for volunteering at the hike Saturday night. It was great to have so many people helping!"
