Chestnut Hill, MA -
The second day of the UNH Carnival at Attitash Mountain in New Hampshire, offered up the first day of racing due to poor weather conditions on Friday.
With the first run sets not offering much of a challenge, second run qualifying times followed within four seconds of the lead time. Boston College qualified two athletes for the men's race.
Mike Nocek finished the first run in 55th but was disqualified on the second run for missing the entrance to a difficult combination. Eddie Mele finished the first run in 48th position from the 81st starting spot. He was the only finisher for the Eagles, completing a tough second run to finish 43rd overall.
The ladies qualified two athletes for the second run. Junior Kelly Burgart started from the 78th position to finish 54th on the first run and 42nd overall. Sophomore Katie Cutting started 70th, finished 55th on the first run and 45th overall.
The Eagles will compete in the UVM Carnival next week in Stowe, Vermont.
