The Boston College women's sailing team has a slight lead after day 3 of racing in the ICSA Women's National Championship on Lake Travis in Texas.
BC has 59 points, one point better than second place finisher Georgetown after today's racing. Yale has 69 points, while Rhode Island is in fourth with 76 points. Connecticut College is fifth with 85 points.
Racing begin early but was suspended due to lack of wind. After a four-hour delay the racers got back on the water at 3 p.m.
The racers will arrive at 8 a.m. and sailing will begin shortly thereafter. Saturday, June 2 is the last day of racing for the women's competition. No races can begin after 5 p.m.
