Eagles take third at BU Trophy

The Boston College sailing team placed third overall with 112 points at the BU Trophy in-conference regatta on the weekend of March 29-30. The top three teams finished within six points of each other, with Northeastern taking first with 106 points.
The Division A team had six races on Saturday and four on Sunday, while Division B raced four on Saturday and six on Sunday, for ten total races.
The A boat had the fourth highest score of 54 points, seven behind the Huskies, and only one and two points behind Rhode Island and Tufts, respectively. Kaitlin Driscoll ('16), Ryan Schmitz ('15) and Henry Dumke ('17) raced in the A boat, with Dumke substituting in for Schmitz for races seven through ten.
The Eagles racing in the Division B boat earned a second-place finish, eight points behind Salve Regina's 50. Ryan Morrison ('14), Savanna Brown ('16) and Chris Dwyer ('15) sailed in the B boat, with Dwyer coming in for Brown for the final two races.
