Sailing Finishes Seventh at Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy

On the cold and rainy weekend of March 29-30, the women's sailing team finished in seventh place at the Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy intersectional regatta.

Boston College finished the regatta with 213 points, behind MIT's winning score of 134 points. Division A had eight races on Saturday and four on Sunday. Division B had an even split of six races per day. Ally Donahue ('17) and Allison Ferraris ('17) sailed the first ten races for Division A, with Caroline Drury ('14) replacing Ferraris for the final two contests. Division A placed fourth with 84 points, just 13 off the lead.

Carolyn Naughton ('14), Katherine Downey ('16) and Emily Schalka ('15) sailed for Division B, with Downey sailing the first ten races and Schalka coming in for the last two. The Division B team finished in 11th with 129 points.
