Chestnut Hill, MA - The sailing team placed fourth at the St. Mary's Team Race this past weekend in Maryland. The Eagles finished 8-6 in the competition while Stanford won the event with a perfect 14-0 record.

The College of Charleston finished second at 10-4 and St. Mary's was third with a 9-5 record.

Boston College was led by juniors William Bailey and Katherine Wysocki, who were named NEISA's Coed Sailors of the Week for their performance. The Eagles team consisted of skippers Bailey, Erika Reineke and Raul Rios. The crews were Wysocki, Elizabeth Barnard, Domenic Bove and Shelby Hamilton.

The Eagles will race next weekend in the Central Series One at Mass Maritime as well as the Veitor Trophy hosted by Salve Regina.
