The Boston College sailing team earned a ninth place finish out of 15 competitors at the Nicholas J. Barnett Trophy hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday and Sunday.
Sailing on Casco Bay off Bethel Point in Maine, BC finished the regatta with 102 points - 48 points behind Dartmouth College's winning total of 54 points.
The Eagles' A Division team consisting of senior Ian Donahue and sophomore Isabelle Salvaterra placed sixth in the division with 37 points. Dartmouth College's Deirdre Lambert and Carissa Crawford won the A Division with 25 points.
BC's Carolyn Naughton and Caroline Drury finished in tenth place in the B Division with 65 points. The sophomore duo ended up 39 points behind B Division winner, Tufts, which finished with 26 points.
