Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College women's sailing team won the NEISA Women's Championship over the weekend at the conference regatta hosted by Tufts University. BC sailed away with the Reed Trophy as the team posted 53 points. This is the third consecutive women's conference championship for Boston College.

Yale was the closest team to Boston College with 94 points, while URI placed third with 120 points. Dartmouth and Tufts both finished fourth with 124 points, while Connecticut College was sixth with 152 points.

Stephanie Hudson and Kelly Roy won the A Division regatta with 32 points, while Erika Reineke and Elizabeth Barnard won the B Division with 21 points.

The top nine teams qualify for the ICSA National semifinals. This past weekend's victory earns BC a berth at the National Championship, and a first round bye.

The conference also released the NEISA All-Conference team following the regatta. Barnard, Hudson and Reineke earned first team honors, while Roy was named to the second team.

Reineke was also named Rookie of the Year and a finalist for Sailor of the Year.
