Sailing Wins Savin Invitational

The Boston College sailing team won the Savin Hill Invitational in an In-Conference Regattas hosted by the Eagles on April 12-13. The Eagles had 54 points, while Salve Regina finished second with 133 points. Harvard finished third with 160 points, while Mass Maritime placed fourth with 186 points.

At the Owen, Moshbacher and Knapp Trophy Regatta, Boston College placed third with 141 points. The two-conference regatta was hosted by Yale on April 12-13.

BC's A Division team - Raul Rios and Shelby Hamilton, earned 68 points, while the B Division team - William Bailey and Katie Wysocki - scored 73 points.

At the Thompson Trophy Intersection Regatta, Boston College placed eighth at the event hosted by the Coast Guard over the weekend. The Eagles tallied 280 points, while the winner of the event Stanford had 173 points. St. Mary's College of Maryland placed second with 230 points.

The A Division team for Boston College was Harry Koeppel and Isabelle Salvaterra. They posted 100 points and finished 10th in the division. Domenic Bove and Emily Vasiliou raced in the B Division and finished fourth with 82 points. The C Division team of Carolyn Naughton, Katherine Downey and Emily Schalka placed 10th with 98 points.
