Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Eagles headed to the Medford Boat Club on Upper Mystic Lake this past weekend for the 35th annual Duplin Trophy, a round-robin intersectional regatta. BC took second place, finishing just short of Yale and ahead of Tufts.

After round one, the top four teams advanced to a "gold" double round robin and the bottom five teams competed in a single "silver" round robin. BC finished round one with a record of 7-1, tied with Yale for first place and advancing to the gold round robin. The Eagles went 3-0 in the gold first round and 1-2 in the gold second round, resulting in an 11-3 final team record, one win behind the first-place Yale Bulldogs.

Boston College was led by skippers Carolyn Naughton '14, Stephanie Hudson '13, and Katja Sertl '16, and crews Kelly Roy '13, Serena Lofftus '13, and Shelby Hamilton '14.

Next weekend the Eagles will compete in the 16th Southern NE Team Race, 27th Women's Brad Dellenbaugh Trophy, and the 3rd Mystic Lake Team Racing Invitational.
