Eagles Finish 5th in Central Series Two Race

March 25, 2013

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - It was a blustery day at Boston University, with winds between 15 and 20 knots for the in-conference Central Series Two regatta on March 23. Boston College finished with 30 points and earned fifth place overall.

The Eagles were led in Division A by freshmen Marcos Darcy and Savanna Brown, who picked up 19 points after finishing sixth. Ryan Morrison and Lindsay D'Alessandro took charge in Division B, earning 11 points and third place, after a head-to-head tiebreaker with Brown University.

Rhode Island took first place on the day after winning in both divisions, with Brown and Yale trailing for second and third place, respectively. BC was near the top though, being edged out by only one point by BU and two points by Yale.

The Eagles will compete in the 16th Southern NE Team Race, 27th Women's Brad Dellenbaugh Trophy, and the 3rd Mystic Lake Team Racing Invitational next weekend.
