Sailing Place Third And Fourth in Central Series 1

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College sailing team placed two teams in the top five of this past weekend's Central Series 1 Regatta hosted by MIT and Northeastern. BC picked up a third and fourth place finish behind the overall winner, Brown and second place Connecticut College.
The BC Eagles second team of Ryan Morrison and Caroline Drury placed fourth in the A Division with 42 points. The first team of Carolyn Naughton and Doyle Calhoun came in sixth with 44 points. Brown University scored 21 points to win Division A.
In the B Division, Boston College first team of Domenic Bove and Kaitlin Driscoll was second with 22 points. Conn College edged the Eagles by four points, while Brown was third with 33 points. The Eagles second team of Marcos Darcy and Savanna Brown finished fourth with 34 points.
The Eagles will be busy next week as they have the 27th Szambecki Team Race as well as the 34th Women's Duplin Trophy on the line. Also on the schedule is the 84th Boston Dinghy Club Cup as well as the Central Series Two Regatta.
