What they're saying...
Joshua Southern Basketball Class of 2011
Going to Franciscan has been a blast and I can't wait to get another opportunity to go back. The kids are fun and its just another way to reach out to my community as a BC Basketball player
Melanie Cimino Volleyball Class of 2011
Going to SAAC visits to the Franciscan hospital has been life changing. To be able to give back to the community and to make those kids smile, even for just a minute is so fulfilling. Makes us appreciate how lucky we are to go to BC and to have the opportunities we are given every day in our life. To be able to instill hope and happiness in the lives of the kids we visit is something that we strive for every time we visit. We hope to continue visiting the hospital because the gift of happiness is both given and received on both ends.
Ashley Lepring Swimming Class of 2010
SAAC has provided me with many opportunities, not just to meet other fellow athletes, but to feel a part of a larger community. Going on visits to the Franciscan Children's Hospital and HEAR programs provides an escape from the everyday stresses to a place where I feel like I can make someone else's day a little bit better or happier. It is always a pleasure to see children, as they are so full of life and in some ways they help me more than I could ever help them with understanding what is important in life and reminding me to keep smiling even when times get tough.
