
Fall ACC Network Extra Schedule Released

28 fall events will be streamed on the conference’s online home
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – A total of 28 of Boston College's home, regular-season fall athletic events will be streamed on ACC Network Extra, part of the school's early-season schedule that was released Wednesday morning. ACC Network Extra broadcasts can be found on WatchESPN, ESPN's online home.

Among the events being streamed in the fall are five field hockey games, seven men's soccer games, seven women's soccer games and nine volleyball games.

Additionally, men's and women's basketball games will continue to be streamed on ACC Network Extra, and new this year, men's and women's hockey games will now be streamed on WatchESPN. Those schedules will be released in the coming weeks. The spring sports' streaming schedules will be released in early 2018.

ACC Network Extra action at The Heights begins this weekend with four games, starting with a pair of contests on Friday at 5 p.m.: men's soccer hosting No. 6 Notre Dame and No. 8 field hockey hosting No. 5 Syracuse. On Sunday, field hockey returns to action against Providence at 1 p.m., while the women's soccer match against Boston University will also be streamed at 1 p.m.

The full fall schedule by sport is below. Links to each stream will be available at bceagles.com at least a day before each contest on the corresponding sport's schedule. The events covered by ACC Network Extra will be immediately available to users who have access to WatchESPN and the ESPN app.Â

Live streaming of Olympic sports will increase annually conference-wide, culminating with 1,300 total ACC events when the linear network launches in 2019.
