
Dwyer, Lichtenberg Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Sophomore Sarah Dwyer (field hockey) and junior Colton Lichtenberg (football) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.
Dwyer allowed just three combined goals in the two victories against ranked opponents as the Eagles swept the ACC/Big Ten Cup in Lancaster, Pa. She recorded a career-high six saves in the double overtime victory against No. 14 Northwestern on Friday and racked up three against No. 6 Maryland on Sunday. Dwyer has started all four games for the Eagles, who are 4-0 on the young season.
Lichtenberg connected on a career-high three field goals on Friday night, including the game-winning 37-yard kick with 2:13 left in the game, to lift BC to a 23-20 win at Northern Illinois. He was also successful from 42 yards and 35 yards. His 11 points were also a career high.

Field hockey (4-0) will host Syracuse on Friday at 5 p.m. before hosting Providence on Sunday at 1 p.m. Football (1-0) will host Wake Forest on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Alumni Stadium.
