Bryant, Warner Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Alexis Bryant (women's soccer) and freshman Elizabeth Warner (field hockey) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.
Bryant picked up her ninth-career shutout with a 3-0 victory over Boston University. She had six saves in the win which was her second clean sheet of the season. Those six saves were a season high.
Warner scored the first and final goal in the Eagles' 4-0 shutout of Providence on Sunday. It was BC's first shutout of the season and fifth straight non-conference win. Warner recorded her first career game winner and tied for first on the team with six points.

Women's soccer (5-3) will host St. John's on Thursday (7 p.m.) and Louisville on Sunday (1 p.m.) in its ACC opener. Field hockey (5-1, 0-1 ACC) is at North Carolina on Saturday and William & Mary on Sunday.
