HOW IT HAPPENED

Bryant had to back-peddle as two BC defenders attempted to disrupt Simmons run towards goal. Simmons broke free from the defense enough to place the ball into the far corner for the 1-0 lead.
COACH'S QUOTE
Head Coach Alison Foley:
"I thought we did a good job possessing the ball and creating quality chances. Defensively we were solid. We really only gave up one chance and they capitalized on it. Credit to their goalkeeper, she had a great game. I felt we deserved more than what we got tonight.''
