TURNING POINT
- BC held Louisville scoreless for the opening 20:47 of the game, including a 18:05 stretch of not allowing a shot. The Eagles scored nine goals before UofL could get on the board.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- BC got the ball rolling early as Hart and Weeks each tallied a goal in the opening two minutes of the game.
- The Eagles continued to click on offense, scoring three goals in 1:46 to make it 5-0 after 10 minutes of play.
- With a 6-0 lead, O'Connor recorded the natural hat-trick, scoring three goals in 1:26 to extend BC's lead to nine.
- Louisville finally ended its scoring drought at 9:13, scoring the first of three unanswered goals to make it a 9-3 game.
- After the Eagles netted their 10th goal of the half, Louisville scored the final two goals of the half to make it 10-5 at the break.
- BC and Louisville tallied two goals each to start the first 10 minutes of the second half.
- Louisville continued to fight back and scored two quick goals but were matched by BC.
- With a five-goal lead in the final 10 minutes, BC held the Cardinals to two goals to secure the win.
