Eagles add Stanford to list of future football opponents

Boston College announced Monday the addition of a future football series with Stanford
The Eagles will face the Cardinal in Chestnut Hill on Sept. 2, 2028. Boston College will travel to Stanford Stadium on Sept. 15, 2029.
BC and Stanford have met four times, most recently in 2002. The series is tied at 2-2.
Future BC non-conference opponents include:
2017: Notre Dame (H), Central Michigan (H)
2018: Purdue (A)
2019: Notre Dame (A)
2020: Purdue (H)
2022: Notre Dame (A)
2023: Ohio State (A)
2024: Ohio State (H)
2025: Notre Dame (H)
