TOURNAMENT NOTES:Â
- The senior class of Emily Zlevor, Sarah Mannelly, Kara Magley, Kate Rich, Molly Erdle and Caroline Margolis will be the first class in program history to make the tournament in each of their four years. Already tied with the class of 2015 for the most wins in program history (52), a win in the tournament would make them the winningest class all-time.
- The maroon and gold look to improve on their 2-4 NCAA Tournament record. In 2011, 2013 and 2015, the Eagles were knocked out in their first game. However, in 2014, the Eagles advanced to the Elite Eight after ousting Bryant (17-9) and Loyola (8-3). They fell to Syracuse, 11-9, in the round of eight.Â
- Four current Eagles hold five individual single game tournament records for the program. Senior Caroline Margolis' five point performance vs Loyola last season tied her for the most in a single Tournament game. Her three assists and four ground balls in that same game are also both records. Senior Molly Erdle recorded a record three caused turnovers vs. Loyola in 2015 while Kara Magley's eight draw controls tops the list. No. 11's playoff record for draw controls are also the fifth most by a BC player in any game all-time.Â
- With the entrance into the 2016 NCAA Tournament, coach Acacia Walker has now participated in 13 of the last 14 NCAA Tournaments as either a player or a coach. She qualified for the tourney in each of her four years as a player at Maryland, won three straight National Championships as the assistant coach at Northwestern from 2006-2008, and has made it in six of the seven years that she split between Massachusetts and BC.
- Boston College is 3-0 against Stony Brook all-time, having played the Seawolves three straight years between 2004 and 2006. This season, Stony Brook finished  with a 16-3 record while going undefeated in America East Conference play. They finished ranked seventh in the IWLCA poll and defeated Albany on Sunday for their fourth-straight AE Championship title.Â
