Eagles program pushes incoming freshman class to seven
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women's hockey head coach Katie Crowley has announced the addition of two more members of her Class of 2020, joining five future Eagles who signed National Letters of Intent in November.
Crowley and her staff will welcome forward Kate Annese and goaltender Molly Barrow to The Heights next fall where they will join Delaney Belinskas, Caitrin Lonergan, Bridget McCarthy, Rachel Moore and Caroline Ross who previously committed to the program.
"We're excited to add Kate and Molly to our program next year," Crowley said. "Kate is a hard-working player who will add some tenacity to our offensive threat. She's a relentless attacker who will make it challenging for other teams to attack. Molly is a tall, athletic goaltender who will complement our two other goaltenders. She has a great upside and will compete day-in and day-out for us."

Nobles has also won the last five ISL championships, and Annese will join current Nobles teammates Lonergan and McCarthy at BC. She currently plays club hockey with Mid-Fairfield Connecticut Stars' U19 team, and had a long career with Assabet Valley where she helped the team win a national championship and a national semifinal finish in addition to their three Massachusetts state titles. Barrow plays her club hockey with East Coast Wizards Girls Juniors, where she went 7-4-1 on the season with a 1.12 goals against average this season. Barrow also played soccer and lacrosse at Newton Country Day before focusing on hockey. Her mother, Sarah (Molumphy) '90 is a former member of the BC women's tennis team, and her aunt Katie (Molumphy) '87 is a member of the BC Varsity Club Hall of Fame and former Big East Female Athlete of the Decade in women's tennis.
