#BCEagles Newsstand: National Signing Day Special
February 05, 2016 | Football, Boston College Athletics
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - With the 2016 College Football National Signing Day officially in the books, arguably the biggest day of the college football off season, stories from around the country have been written about this past Wednesday, both on the work of the Boston College coaching staff, as well as the newest class of Eagles, who will be coming to The Heights in the fall.
The Boston Globe's Julian Benbow explains how Addazio was extra excited to begin his day on the first day that football coaches could take official committments from the next wave of BC Eagles while Eric Avidon of the Metrowest Daily News tells us how that excitement will be justified.
Benbow also has a feature on Ethan Tucky, and how his committment to Boston College has come full circle over the past two years.Â
USA Today looks at some of the new players who will help the maroon and gold compete in the ACC next season.Â
Brandon Barlow is one of the newest members to the Eagles, and he is excited to have committed to a Division I school.Â
Newcomer Korab Idrizi felt BC had the same ideals as him while stating he made the best decision for him and his family. He is happy to be attending one of the top academic and top football schools in the country as well.Â
Adam Korutz also chose BC for several reasons while it was a dream come true for John Lamot.Â
The Rockaway Times looks at the football journey that Ray Marten took and a local football star will be keeping his talents in state with Sean Ragan choosing Chestnut Hill.Â
