BC HOSTS NOTRE DAME THURSDAY
• Boston College will host Notre Dame on Thursday night at 7 p.m. inside Conte Forum.
• The game will be televised by RSN/NESN and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College lost to #15/12 Duke on Saturday in its ACC opener, 81-64. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak.
• Notre Dame won its last two non-conference games before losing at #5/5 Virginia in its league opener last Saturday, 77-66.
• All four of the Irish's losses have come away from home.
• Notre Dame has won nine of the last 10 meetings between the programs and each of the last five.
EAGLES DROP ACC OPENER AGAINST DUKE
• Graduate student Eli Carter led Boston College with 19 points and five assists as Boston College lost to #15/12 Duke on Saturday, 81-64.
• He was 7-for-16 from the field.
• Freshman Jerome Robinson added 15 points and a season-high seven rebounds. He also had four assists and a season-best four steals.
• Senior Dennis Clifford added 12 points and five rebounds.
• Boston College led early, 12-6, but Duke scored nine unanswered points in 1:20 to take a 15-12 lead midway through the half.
• That started a 20-5 run which built a 26-17 advantage with five minutes to play.
• From the 12:46 mark, the Blue Devils outscored BC, 31-12, to take a 37-24 halftime lead.
• The Eagles scored 10 unanswered points in just over two minutes to cut the deficit to 57-46 with 8:24 remaining.
• Duke scored the next four points to stop the run and maintain the double-digit lead.

• Aaron Brown led all scorers with 22 points and added three assists as Boston College lost at home to #10/10 Notre Dame, 87-70, on February 21, 2015.
• Dennis Clifford recorded 17 points, six rebounds and four assists. His assists matched a career high and his points were two shy of his career best.
• Olivier Hanlan scored 19 points while adding four rebounds.
• Notre Dame made the first run of the game when it scored nine unanswered points to take a 16-7 lead with 12:14 on the clock.
• Trailing by seven, Boston College went on a quick 8-2 run to cut its deficit to 26-25. Hanlan scored six of the points with a pair of 3-pointers.
• The Irish responded immediately with a 9-3 spurt that made it a 37-28 lead with 1:34 left in the half.
• Notre Dame held a 37-32 halftime lead.

• Boston College faces a brutal start to the ACC schedule.
• According to the KenPom rankings as of January 6, the Eagles will face five opponents in the top 10 and 10 in the top 50 in their first 11 conference matchups.
