BC HOSTS UNH IN FINAL NON-CONFERENCE GAME
• Boston College will host New Hampshire on Wednesday at 2 p.m. inside Conte Forum.
• The game will be streamed on ESPN3 and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College has won three straight after dropping six in a row. It beat Fordham last Tuesday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, 64-55.
• UNH has lost two of three entering the game, most recently dropping a 78-74 contest at Boston University last Monday.
• The Eagles have won the last 13 meetings between the programs, including a 58-50 triumph last year in Conte Forum.
EAGLES GET THIRD-STRAIGHT WIN
• Freshman Jerome Robinson matched season highs with 19 points and six rebounds to lead Boston College to a 64-55 win vs. Fordham last Tuesday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
• Graduate student Eli Carter recorded 12 points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals.
• Redshirt freshman Idy Diallo matched a season high with eight points in 20 minutes off the bench. He was 4-for-4 from the field.
• With the game tied, 8-8, Boston College went on a 10-2 run to take an 18-10 lead with 8:41 left in the half. Diallo had six of the points in that stretch.
• Fordham responded immediately with a 7-1 run of its own to cut the lead to 19-17 at the 4:25 mark.
• BC closed the half with an 8-3 stretch to take a 27-22 halftime lead. Carter closed out the half by hitting all three free throws after being fouled behind the arc with 0.8 seconds left.
• The teams traded quick runs throughout the second half. Fordham held a 40-39 lead, but the Eagles scored six-straight points to regain a 45-40 lead with 8:12 left.
• With the Eagles on top, 57-49, Fordham scored five unanswered to make it a 57-54 lead with 2:06 on the clock.
• BC pulled away in the end, getting the lead back up to six points with 30 seconds left.
LAST TIME vs. NEW HAMPSHIRE
• Aaron Brown led all scorers with 21 points - going 7-for-9 from the foul line - to lead Boston College past New Hampshire, 58-50, in the season-opener last season at Conte Forum.
• Olivier Hanlan added 17 points and five rebounds.
• Eddie Odio had a game-high eight rebounds.
• New Hampshire opened the game on a 9-2 run over the first 5:51. The Wildcats held BC without a field goal for the first 7:29.
• A quick 6-0 BC spurt brought the Eagles to within 11-10 with 9:22 left in the half.
• With UNH leading, 15-10, Boston College scored 12 unanswered points to take a 22-15 lead with 4:05 left.
• The Eagles closed the half with an 18-3 run to take a 28-18 halftime lead.
• The BC lead reached as many as 18 points, 47-29, with 9:35 left in the game.
• New Hampshire made a late push after being down 53-40 with 4:19 left. The Wildcats were able to cut it to 55-48 with 28 seconds remaining but couldn't get closer.
A CHRISTMAS SCHOLARSHIP FOR PERPIGLIA
• Boston College senior walk-on guard Steve Perpiglia was given a full scholarship for his final semester after the Eagles defeated Fordham on December 22 at the Barclays Center.
• Head Coach Jim Christian announced the scholarship to the team in the locker room following BC's third-straight victory.
• More than 100 family and friends made the trip to Brooklyn to watch Perpiglia play. Christian also announced the news to his supporters that were still in the arena.
• Perpiglia has appeared in 29 games in his career.
