BC-FORDHAM MEET IN BROOKLYN
• Boston College will take on Fordham on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
• It is the second game of an ACC/Atlantic 10 doubleheader. Virginia Tech faces St .Joseph's in the first game at 1 p.m.
• BC and Fordham last met on the hardwood in 1998.
• The game will be streamed on ESPN3 and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College has won two straight after dropping six in a row. It beat Delaware on Saturday, 69-61.
• Fordham lost its season opener at Texas-Arlington but enters Tuesday having won its last nine games which were all at home.
EAGLES PULL AWAY FROM DELAWARE
• Graduate student Eli Carter flirted with a triple-double for the second-straight game as Boston College beat Delaware, 69-61, Saturday night.
• He had 20 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds while committing just two turnovers.
• Freshman Matt Milon scored 12 points off the bench, going 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.
• Classmate Ervins Meznieks was the other Eagle in double figures with 10 points.
• Senior Dennis Clifford tallied eight points and 10 rebounds.
• Boston College went on the first run of the game, a 12-2 one to take an 18-9 lead at the 13:47 point. Five different Eagles scored in the run.
• Delaware responded with seven-straight points to cut the lead to 18-16.
• The Eagles were on top, 25-19, before the Blue Hens rattled off nine unanswered points to give them a 28-25 lead.
• That started a 14-2 run that helped give Delaware a 35-32 halftime lead.
• Boston College started the second half with a 19-7 run over the first 10:12 to build a 51-42 lead. Milon had six of the points in the run.
• The Eagles would keep control from there as the lead reached as many as 13, 65-52, with 2:47 remaining.
LAST TIME vs. FORDHAM
• Clinton Sims scored 21 points to lead Boston College to a 69-56 win over Fordham on November 24, 1998 at the Pepsi Arena in Albany.
• Sims went 8-for-11 from the floor.
• Kenny Harley added 17 points.
CARTER'S LAST TWO GAMES
• Graduate student Eli Carter has flirted with a triple-double in each of the last two games.
• In those contests, he has averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 9.5 assists.
• In the win against Maine, he had 16 points, nine assists and eight rebounds.
• He then had 20 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the victory over Delaware on Saturday. He also committed just two turnovers in 36 minutes of work.
• Carter is the first Eagle to record a double-double with points and assists since Reggie Jackson in 2010.
• He is also one of just five ACC players to record 10 assists this year.
• The last BC triple-double came in December 2006 when Sean Williams had 19 points, 13 blocks and 10 rebounds against Duquesne.
• Carter ranks 11th in the ACC in scoring and sixth in assists.
