Carpenter's Quest: Day 12 - Semifinals vs. Germany!

Today we had our semi-final game against the Germany. We cancelled our pre-game skate because we had the earlier game (3 p.m. CET). Besides our game, all we had today was a video session after the pre-game meal. To be honest it is a very boring day to write about. The only exciting part of the day was when a maid locked me and my roommate Sam LaShomb out of our room. Trying to communicate with them took maybe 15 minutes, but we finally succeeded in getting in our room.
We won our game against Germany 7-1 and will be playing tomorrow in the gold medal game either against Sweden or Canada. In our game earlier today Maryanne Kennedy-Menefee scored twice and Kate Flug also added two of her own. This was Flug's first game back from a concussion she suffered when we scrimmaged the Zlín boys team. The game was a great test leading into tomorrow's championship, which can be followed at the link here.
