Dave Widell '88

- A powerful and dominating blocker, he earned All-East honors and played an integral role in Boston College's 1986 Hall of Fame Bowl championship season.

- Selected to play in the Blue-Gray All-Star Game as a senior.

- Drafted by the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, he also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos, and the 1998 NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons.

- Shares the distinction of having played on the offensive line alongside his brother Doug at both Boston College and the NFL's Denver Broncos.

- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003.
