Tom Waddle '89

- An outstanding receiver, Waddle placed third on the BC all- time career list for receptions with 139 for 1,956 yards and 6 touchdowns at the time of his graduation.

- Finished his BC career first on the school's all-time list for receptions in a season with 70 in 1988, and tied for first in all-time receptions in a single game with 13 vs. Notre Dame in 1988.

- Good speed and hands made him a threat at receiving and punt returns; he was a first-team All-East selection in 1988 and played in the Japan Bowl.

- Played for the Chicago Bears, then finished his NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals in 1995 with 173 receptions for 2,109 yards and 9 touchdowns.

- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.
