Charlie Volpone '59

- Starred on the Boston College golf team in 1957 and 1958 after establishing himself as one of New England's top amateur players.

- Was New England PGA "Player of the Year" six times, and won State Amateur and Open championships in five different states.

- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1983.
