Flavio Tosi '34
- A truly outstanding end, he was a leading pass receiver on
offense and a hard-hitting defender on the other side of the
line of scrimmage.
- As a senior, he was awarded All-America and All-East honors
for his stellar play, which included 10 quarterback sacks in
the Holy Cross game.
- Became the first Boston College graduate to play in the
National Football League when he signed with the then Boston
Redskins after receiving his degree.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1982.
