RON STONE `93
-As a player with dominating and complete football
skills, this Boston native had the rare honor of
starting two years as a defensive tackle before
switching to the offensive side of the ball where he
immediately became a fearsome blocker and pass protector
at the right tackle position.
-On defense, he rang up 68 tackles and two blocked kicks
in two varsity seasons; as an offensive lineman, he
started all 12 games in the Eagles' 1992 Hall of Fame
Bowl season.
-After graduation from BC, he played 12 years in the
National Football League, participating in 173 games
(142 starts) for the Dallas Cowboys (1994-95),
New York Giants (1996-2001), San Francisco 49ers
(2002-03) and Oakland Raiders (2004-05).
