Richie Smith '76
- A highly-talented player who led the Eagles in scoring in
each of his four varsity seasons and finished his
magnificent collegiate career with 198 points (94 goals, 104
assists).
- As Co-Captain of the Eagles in 1975-76, he was an All-East
forward and winner of the Walter Brown Award as the
outstanding American player in college hockey.
- Played on U.S. National Team in 1974 and 1975 and was
selected as a member of the 1976 U.S. Olympic Team.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1983.
