Charlie Smith `66

-A two-way player who excelled as a pass-receiving
and hard-blocking tight end and rock-solid defensive
end, he served as captain of the 1965 Boston College
football team.
-Surpassing his 22 career receptions and numerous key
defensive plays was an even more exceptional combination
of self-discipline, enthusiasm, determined work ethic
and leadership skills.
-The Boston College football team won 18 of 28 games
played during his three varsity seasons.
